I like the phone, MS please fix the OS.This screen replacement for LG G4 is brand new and OEM quality, repairing your broken or malfunctioning screen,Compatible for LG G4 H810 H811 H815 LS991 VS986, perfect fit for your phone, work as original! One of the reasons I left Android was because of the buggyness, I won't have any other options if MS doesn't get their heads out from their butts and get these problems solved. I'm hoping that these things will be taken care of. If I pin a contact on my desktop and get an IM, it does not show on that contact on my desktop, stuff like that. Don't get me wrong 10 is nowhere as smooth as 8.1 and there are a bugs that need to be taken care of. I hard reboot took care of that, phone updated with not problems. The only time I had the battery drain issue was during the first update, the phone would get hot, sit on 0% download. I take my phone off the charger when I leave home at 8am, use it all day come home and sometimes not put it back on the charger until 6am, when I check the usage, it says it at 45% with 10hrs remaining. I have the 950 on ATT an d have not had most of the problems that people seem to have here. I wonder how many people posting actually have a Windows phone. My 950XL might get warmer a little more often than my iPhone, but I can't say it's ever felt warmer, definitley nothing Id go as far as to say it was hot enough to worry me. It's not a completely trouble free experience. It even heats up with certain apps that push the graphics processing, or use GPS. I get app crashes/freezes, random reboots on my iPhone 6+. The others still have some flaws that are being worked on, you just don't hear about it so much. I've switched from iOS after about 7 years, with a bit of Android time in there too, and so far I'm very happy with the OS and the hardware (950XL for me), even if it's not perfect right now. Hopefully it doesn't take too long so the platform can survive, and even build in popularity. In time, W10M should improve as things are added and bugs are ironed out, as well as gaining more developer support (fingers crossed). ![]() Android was the same, although I still refuse to ever use it again, that bridge is burnt. Hopefully it won't take as long as it has with iOS to become as good. Personally I feel W10M is way ahead of where iOS was as far as performance and content go for a new OS. It wasn't perfect and left a lot to be desired. Look at the iPhone and iOS in the beginning. As frustrating as it is, some of the criticism is ridiculous.Įxactly. There is a lot of ground to cover, it's a massive task and it's the "wrong" time of year too. Sure, not everything is perfect - nothing ever is - and that needs to be recognised. Counterfeit cards are a big problem, even the main manufacturers admit it's now almost impossible to tell the different and a lot of fakes are now unwittingly being sold by genuine retailers. Likewise with memory cards, the ones causing reboot problems are probably fake. It's just the way batteries can behave when new. That's not the phone's fault, neither is it the manufacturers. Do people honestly believe that a huge professional company deliberately release these phones with a raft of known errors? A lot of issues are probably down to improper use anyway - for example, batteries are very volatile and can behave extremely irratically if not charged properly to begin with but no doubt 95% of us get the phone out of the box, bang a bit of charge in the battery (or use what's already in there) and run into problems straight away. ![]() I personally look at whatever I buy has to offer overall and find it quite amusing that a lot of people seem to have worked out for themselves what Microsoft are doing and why. It's not right to complain about problems you knew about ahead of the purchase. Most of the known issues are well documented so if you know that there are issues that are going to bother you before you buy, then don't buy. Most will probably be addressed with future updates in any event, but reading some of the post on here I wonder why they bother buying a Windows phone at all. While we all want everything to be perfect I think there is far too much moaning over relatively minor issues. ![]() I tend to agree with X-topher to a point.
